Welcome to 3rd grade at Greenhills!  My name is Emily Wilson and I look forward to meeting you and your child soon.  This will be an exciting year as your child will embark upon new adventures in the world of learning and make some important transitions.  I hope to make your child's learning experience a fun and memorable one while instilling a love of learning.  It is important to me to to maintain each child's self-esteem and build a secure foundation for future growth.  My classroom is set up to promote safety, academic growth, and positive outcomes.  I believe every child is a learner and grows at his or her own individual pace.  My classroom will foster that learning environment.

 

With the first day of school just around the corner, here are some details to keep in mind.  Please arrive between 8:15-8:30am.  I will be roaming around campus greeting students and families so you may find my door locked.  Please hang your backpack on one of the hooks outside the classroom (E-5) and place your lunch/snack in the wagon.  After that you are welcome to play out on the blacktop until the bell rings at 8:30am.  

 

Please keep in mind that dismissal time for the first two days of school is 1:45pm.  Normal dismissal is 2:55pm.  Make sure your child knows where to go when school is dismissed.  Bus riders will be walked to line the first few days of school.
