Tomorrow is Spring Picture Day!  You will not need to send money, however, your child's picture will be taken.  In a couple of weeks, the photos will be sent home and you will then choose if you wish to purchase them or return them to school.

Today, your child brought home a special homework assignment.  Be sure to check out your child's folder and review the directions for the Hero Doll.  The kiddos have until March 20th to complete the project.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

As you may have seen, I sent an email with a reminder to register for your child's Six Flags ticket related to Read to Succeed.  Be  sure to check that out as their are deadlines.  It is a new process this year where the parents enter the information vs. the school.  There are no paper reading logs to turn in.

Report cards will go home this week.  For those that I am not meeting with, I will send them home   in Wednesday Folders so be sure to look for them.  Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions after reviewing your child's report.  Remember, we are looking for 3's by the end of the year.  For those meeting with me on the 12th or 13th, you will receive yours during your child's conference.

Thank you so much to all who have sent in classroom supplies!  You have been so generous!

Be sure to label those coats, jackets and sweaters so they can be returned to your child if left behind.  If your child has lost something, be sure he/she stops by the Lost and Found.

Spelling City is a great free resource where the kids can practice our spelling words in a fun, engaging way. I will send the link to you in this newsletter each week.  If your child would like to practice using it, just cut and paste the link and look for the current week's list. This week's list is Unit 5 Week 2.  Any previous list can be reviewed.  Be sure to choose either the A list or the B list, depending on the one your child has.  Be sure they choose the free games and not the premium ones.  The link is:  https://www.spellingcity.com/users/nbolyard

I hope you all have a wonderful week and don't hesitate to email, call or stop in with questions.
