Counseling
Eureka Union School District wants every student to leave the district with the skills necessary to be ready to succeed in high school, college, and beyond. Instilling the values and teaching the skills to students to prepare them for college and career readiness: academically, socially, and emotionally. School Counselors are the only professionals that have received specialized training in academic, personal/social, and career domains. EUSD values all components of their students, and knows that when a student has social and emotional difficulties occurring in their lives, that they are unable to access learning. Greenhills' students have regular and on-going access to their Counselor, with the goal being to increase academic success, positive social interactions, and attendance.

I attended CSU Sacramento, graduating with a B.A. degree in Psychology. I continued my education at National University, Sacramento, earning my M.S. degree in Educational Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Services credential in 2008. After graduating I worked as an Intervention Counselor for high school aged students and then as an Elementary School Counselor in the Bay Area. After moving back to Placer County in 2011, I worked as a Student Support Practitioner, supporting foster youth, at-risk youth, and families in our area. I truly enjoy working in the educational setting with students and their families!
My time away from work is spent with my husband and our son. Together we enjoy taking walks, being outside, and relaxing as a family.
